English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is teaching technical English to generally adult learners. In other words, it is addressed to learners in special fields and with special needs. In our context, ESP is addressed to learners of Natural Sciences and is accompanied with other modules addressing the same scientific sphere in the learners’ mother tongue (Arabic). Studying ESP is an opportunity for learners to internalize an English vocabulary related to their specialty. This would enable them to have access to different resources in the target language (English Language).
